The second generation of the Nike Hypervenom Silo pushes the boundaries of boot technology with an innovative upper design for ultimate ball control and attacking agility. This colorway is part of the Spark Brilliance Pack featuring a Volt upper with Hyper Turq & Clear Jade details. The enhanced mesh upper is textured and treated with ACC (All Conditions Control) and a layer of NikeSkin in order to provide a responsive grip on the ball in rain or shine. Magwire cables wrap around the eyelets of the laces and connect to the baseplate for the lock-down effect through the middle of the boot. The Dynamic Flyknit Collar extends around the ankle for improved fit and support, and also features an asymmetrical seam to avoid distraction on the heel. This second generation Phantom features the same honey-comb upper texture as the first generation in order to improve traction and decrease the boot's break-in period. Also like the first generation, the lacing system is asymmetrical to provide a larger strike zone over the upper, and the stud pattern features a split-toe conical design. The Pebax base plate, however, is lighter and less rigid than its predecessor.
